The route
From Marina da Glória to Urca, along the shore
This route is included in the price of every boat except the jet ski, which does not run it. It leaves Marina da Glória, passes Flamengo and Botafogo beaches and goes to Urca, at the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain. The map shows the real coastline, to scale.

- 1 Marina da Glória Departure and return. It sits inside the bay, sheltered from the open sea.
- 2 Flamengo Beach The Aterro do Flamengo waterfront, seen from the water.
- 3 Botafogo Beach The cove with Sugarloaf on one side and Christ the Redeemer on top of Corcovado.
- 4 Urca Beach At the foot of Morro da Urca and Sugarloaf. From here the boat heads back across the bay.

- Urca + Praia Vermelha ≈ 8 km from the marina The standard route extended to Praia Vermelha, on the other side of Sugarloaf Mountain. The most requested extension.
- Copacabana and Ipanema ≈ 10–15 km from the marina Leaves the bay and follows the shore in open sea. Rougher water.
- Cagarras Islands ≈ 16 km from the marina Clearer water and a snorkeling spot. The crossing takes up much of the 5 hours.
- Niterói ≈ 9 km from the marina A crossing to the other side of the bay.
- Itaipu ≈ 16 km from the marina Outside the bay, along Niterói's ocean coast.

Maximum capacity is 8 people, within the vessel's registered limit. For a more comfortable ride, with everyone seated and room to move around, we suggest up to 6 people.
How much does it cost to rent the Lancha 27 pés?
The 5-hour trip costs R$ 2.600, with fuel and a licensed skipper already included. At full capacity of 8 people, that works out to around R$ 325 per person.
Do I need a boating license?
No. Every trip includes a licensed skipper in the price. You just enjoy the ride.
