Terms of Service & Cancellation Policy

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking any service through Jet Life, the client acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions described on this page. It is the client's responsibility to read these terms before confirming the reservation.

2. Services Offered

Jet Life provides boat rental services including speedboats, yachts, catamarans, schooners and jet skis, departing from Marina da Glória, Rio de Janeiro. All trips include a licensed captain and fuel.

3. Reservations

Reservations are made via WhatsApp. To confirm a booking, a deposit of 50% of the total value is required. The remaining balance must be paid on the day of boarding, before departure.

4. Payment Methods

We accept payment via PIX (preferred for faster confirmation), credit card and bank transfer. The preferred method is PIX for both the deposit and the remaining balance.

5. Cancellation Policy

The deposit is non-refundable. However, if Jet Life is able to fill the cancelled slot with another client, the full amount will be refunded or the reservation may be rescheduled to a new date, subject to availability.

6. No-Show

In case the client does not show up on the scheduled date without prior notice, the full deposit amount will be forfeited with no right to refund or rescheduling.

7. Weather Conditions

Only heavy rain or storms with unsafe sea conditions cancel a trip. Cloudy skies or light rain do not constitute grounds for cancellation. In case of unfavorable weather, the route may be adjusted to the Baía de Guanabara at the captain's discretion to ensure safety.

8. Mechanical Issues

In the event of a mechanical issue that prevents the trip, Jet Life will offer an alternative boat of equivalent or superior category. If no alternative is available, a full refund of all amounts paid will be issued.

9. Safety Rules

  • The captain has full authority over the vessel and may alter or cancel the trip if safety is at risk.
  • Life jackets are mandatory and must be worn when instructed by the captain.
  • Illegal substances of any kind are strictly prohibited on board.
  • Hookah pipes, fireworks, confetti and glitter are not allowed on any vessel.
  • Only sunscreen is allowed. Tanning oils and lotions that may stain the vessel are prohibited.

10. Capacity

The capacity listed for each vessel includes all people on board without exception. Hired professionals such as DJs, bartenders, photographers or any other staff count as passengers and are included in the total capacity.

11. Punctuality

Clients must arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. There is a tolerance of 15 minutes for late arrivals, after which the trip duration will be reduced accordingly. The vessel will depart at the scheduled time regardless of late arrivals.

12. Client Responsibilities

  • The client is responsible for the care and conservation of the vessel and its equipment during the trip.
  • Any damage caused to the vessel or equipment by the client or their guests will be charged.
  • Clients must inform in advance about any medical conditions that may affect the trip (motion sickness, allergies, mobility issues, etc.).

13. Image Usage

By participating in a Jet Life trip, the client authorizes the use of photos and videos taken during the experience for promotional purposes on social media and marketing materials. The client may opt out of image usage at any time by contacting us via WhatsApp.

14. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (CDC, Article 49), the client has 7 calendar days from the date of purchase to exercise the right of withdrawal for any service contracted online or remotely, with a full refund of amounts paid.
