From Marina da Glória to Urca, along the shore

This route is included in the price of every boat except the jet ski, which does not run it. It leaves Marina da Glória, passes Flamengo and Botafogo beaches and goes to Urca, at the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain. The map shows the real coastline, to scale.

How much does it cost to rent a boat?

We have 8 boats for every occasion and group size. Speedboats starting at R$ 2.600, jet skis from R$ 600 (30 minutes), catamarans, yachts and schooners. Fuel always included, and a captain on every boat except the jet ski. See all options →

What is included in the trip?

Fuel, licensed captain, life jackets and coolers with ice. Most boats have Bluetooth speakers, restroom, canopy and BBQ grill.

How many people can fit?

It depends on the vessel: the jet ski carries 2 people, the speedboats 8 to 10, the yachts 16 to 20, and the schooner and the catamaran up to 50. For groups of 30 to 50 people, the options are the schooner and the catamaran. Filter by capacity →

Where do the trips depart from?

Marina da Gloria, Av. Infante Dom Henrique, Gloria, Rio de Janeiro. We send the exact meeting point and how to enter the marina on WhatsApp, after your booking is confirmed.

What routes are available?

The standard 5-hour trip leaves Marina da Glória, passes Flamengo and Botafogo beaches and goes to Urca Beach, returning across the bay. Extending to Praia Vermelha and the routes to Copacabana, the Cagarras Islands, Niteroi and Itaipu are priced separately and arranged on WhatsApp. The jet ski does not run this route and is sold in packages of 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours or a full day.

How do I make a reservation?

What if it rains on the day?

Only heavy rain or storms with unsafe sea conditions cancel a trip — light rain or cloudy skies aren't grounds for cancellation. In bad weather, the route may be adjusted to Baía de Guanabara for safety; if we do need to cancel, we reschedule at no extra cost.

How does payment work?

A 50% deposit confirms the booking. The rest is paid on the day of the trip, at Marina da Glória, always to Jet Life (PIX, card or cash to our team), never to the skipper.

Do I need a licence to ride the jet ski?

Yes. To ride a jet ski yourself, the Brazilian Navy requires a Motonauta (MTA) licence. The Arrais Amador boating licence does not cover jet skis. Without a licence, you can ride as a passenger behind a licensed rider. Talk to our team to find the best option.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Yes, on any vessel. There is no corkage fee or minimum spend, and coolers with ice are already included in the price.
