How renting with Jet Life works

From first contact to the day of the trip: what happens, in what order and how payment works.

Step by step

  1. Pick a boat and a date

    Browse the fleet on the site and choose the boat, the day and the shift. The standard trip lasts 5 hours: morning, departing at 9:00 am, or afternoon, departing at 2:30 pm.

  2. Send your request on WhatsApp

    The form on the site builds the message and opens WhatsApp; you can also message us directly. Sending a request does not hold the date and charges nothing.

  3. Our team confirms availability

    Our team checks that the boat is free on your date and replies with the price. Only after that confirmation do you receive the payment link.

  4. Pay through the secure link

    You choose between a 50% deposit or the full amount. The link is from Stripe and accepts credit cards only, charged in one payment. The date is only held after payment.

  5. Pay the balance on the day, to Jet Life

    If you paid the deposit, you pay the rest at boarding, at Marina da Glória, always to Jet Life: PIX (Brazilian instant transfer), card or cash handed to our team. Never to the captain or crew.

  6. Arrive 30 minutes early

    The boat leaves at the agreed time. There is a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals; after that, the trip time is shortened. We send the meeting point on WhatsApp after confirmation.

  7. Enjoy the 5-hour trip

    Departure from Marina da Glória, with fuel, a licensed captain, life jackets and coolers with ice included. Jet skis are sold in packages (30 min, 1 h, 2 h or full day) and come without a captain.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pay with PIX?

Yes, if your bank is in Brazil: on the secure Stripe link you choose Pix or a Visa or Mastercard credit card. If you are paying from outside Brazil, use a Visa or Mastercard card. The balance, if you pay only the deposit, is always paid to Jet Life: PIX or card.

Can I pay in installments?

The payment link charges in full, in a single card payment, with no automatic installments. If you need another arrangement, ask our team on WhatsApp: installment requests are reviewed by our team.

What if it rains?

Only heavy rain or storms with unsafe sailing conditions cancel a trip. Cloudy skies or light rain are not grounds for cancellation. In bad weather, the captain may adjust the route to Guanabara Bay for safety. If a trip has to be cancelled, our team arranges a new date with you. See the cancellation policy.

Can I cancel? What happens to the deposit?

What is included in the trip?

Fuel, a licensed captain, life jackets and coolers with ice. The standard 5-hour route leaves Marina da Glória, passes Flamengo and Botafogo beaches and goes to Urca. Extensions (Praia Vermelha, Copacabana, Cagarras Islands, Niterói, Itaipu) are priced separately and arranged on WhatsApp. The jet ski comes without a captain and does not run this route.

Can I bring my own drinks and food?

Yes, on any vessel. There is no corkage fee or minimum spend, and coolers with ice are already included in the price.
