How to get there

Only by boat, and the route leaves Marina da Glória along the coast toward Ipanema before heading out to open sea. It is about 40 minutes of sailing each way, which eats close to half of the five-hour trip just in transit.

That is why the Cagarras Islands are not part of the standard Urca and Guanabara Bay route. It is arranged separately, because it burns more fuel and more sailing time than a trip inside the bay. What to do there
